I am from Oldham County and while my education and career have taken me to Chicago, New York and Miami … Kentucky will always be my home. My parents, grandparents and two of my sisters still live in Prospect where I grew up. Over the last ten years, I have watched as open land and farms were converted into commercial and residential developments. Too much of our community is now owned by out-of-state companies for whom our community is solely an “investment”. I decided to do something about it and to use the finance and deal making skills I’ve learned in my career to put together partnerships of locals to buy commercial properties and open land. Let’s keep Oldham County in the hands of the people who truly care about our community. So far, we have invested over $2MM in equity into Oldham County properties and are just getting started.
